PCFLO is a not for profit organization (501c3) operating a referral-only pantry servicing the on-going food needs as well as emergency food needs of Pamlico County.

It costs between $3,000 - $4,000 monthly to maintain the level of service PCFLO provides. Monetary donations as well as donations of nonperishable foods are gratefully accepted.

​**********************************************************************Pamlico County Fishes and Loaves Outreach, the county’s largest food bank, is conducting a fall fundraiser with a solicitation letter to county residents. PCFLO is seeking support because while the number of clients it serves has increased about 25% over last year, donations this year are down 16% compared with 2023. You can help by sending a check to PCFLO
at the address above, or choose to donate via credit card below. About 1,000 Pamlico County residents seek food at PCFLO each month; help us make sure we can meet this growing need.

Pamlico County Fishes and Loaves (PCFLO) is the cooperative effort of volunteers from multiple community churches and organizations in Pamlico County. PCFLO partners with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 14.7% of Pamlico County's population is living at or below the poverty level.

​Most of the population served are the elderly, working poor, the under-employed, or the disabled. 
Our Mission is to accumulate and distribute high-quality, nutritious food to those who need assistance in Pamlico County, NC regardless of race, ethnicity, or religious affiliation.

>THE MOBILE FOOD PANTRY is the first Wednesday of each month. Pamlico County residents may line up in autos starting @ 8:30 am. The distribution process will begin approximately 9:30. Next mobile drive:

>THE REFERRAL PANTRY operates 7 days each month.

Client pickup on Tuesday and Thursday is between 11:00-1:00. Friday between 5:30-6:30

Providing volunteer service is gratefully accepted for the pantries. On Client pickup days, PCFLO needs volunteers to bag the perishables starting at 9:30 am. We provide our clients with meats, fruits & vegetables, and bakery products on those days. To sign up as a volunteer please call the Pantry and leave a message:
