Did You Know ….

Federal funding for some food assistance programs ended on Sept. 30, and some state programs also have been cut. Agriculture programs like Local Food Purchase Agreements (LFPA) have been terminated, and there have been significant disruptions to The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Both programs are integral to both PCFLO and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, which predicts a 20% decrease in available food this year. Your support is needed more than ever.
FOOD OF THE MONTH for 2026
January: Healthy Cereal
February: Peanut Butter
March: Mashed Potatoes (preferably in envelopes)
April: Tuna
May: Jiffy Cornbread Mix
June: Mac & Cheese
